Firefighting Drills Under the Soma Regional Firefighting and Earthquake Countermeasure Plan

Firefighting drills were conducted by Soma Fire Department, jointly supported by Fukushima Prefecture, using RTF’s Urban Field.
The drills were aimed at establishment of an initial response system and a system for information gathering as well as communication and liaison with relevant authorities so as to ensure smooth operations and the safety of team members, under the Soma Regional Firefighting and Earthquake Countermeasure Plan, which was formulated on the basis of the lessons learned from the Great East Japan Earthquake.
